O.K.

Before we jump in and get you started, I want to take a brief moment to tell you what my website is about.

I'm all about helping you buy a car and all the basic pieces of putting together to get the best deal on a vehicle you can for yourself. How to, when to, what to, what not to... and all that.

There are certainly many good car buying advice and research websites out there. But with this website, unlike many of the others, you'll get information and articles written by someone who spent years in the car business.

I've been on the sales floor convincing people to buy. I've sat in hundreds of sales meetings both good and the one's where we were basically told our jobs were on the line this month if we didn't make our projections.

I've managed the finance and insurance department selling not only F&I, but security add on's, glass etching add on's, extended warranties, and anything else the dealers saw potential profit on.

Used cars... you bet. Done that too. Primary financing, secondary financing, going to auctions every week to buy inventory. Working wholesalers to get every penny out of car that I could possibly get.

For the purposes of this website I have tried to keep each page as standalone as possible so you can jump around to the various areas of topic and all will still flow and make sense.

So take a look around and come back later... or roll up your sleeves and learn how to save yourself some big bucks on your next car buying excursion.

Are dealers and salespeople in the car business to make a profit and support their families and enjoy the things in life they like to do?

Of course, they are. Aren't you? Isn't that why you work hard everyday?

Are there good, honest dealers and ..... well not so good, honest dealers.... well yes. Are there good, car salespeople... and not so good, honest automobile salespeople? Well, of course there are. Doesn't that seem to be the case no matter who you deal with in life?

Is this website about hammering car dealers and sales people..... no.  Is it about giving you all the information and tools you need to get the best automobile deal possible and give you confidence in how to negotiate a car deal?

Yes.

And for you salespeople that think that an uninformed consumer is a big commission consumer and one you would rather deal with, as opposed to working hard at putting an honest deal together that works for both you, the automobile dealership and the customer.... good luck to ya... but I hope they don't come from this website.

I guess having said this, the reality of the situation is that from the beginning car buying time there has been this general distrust of the evil car dealer, who would artificially over inflate the list prices of their cars hoping to snatch the happy go lucky buyer who has spotted the car of their dreams right there on the lot.

And wipe that smile off your face you buyers out there!

Dealing with a lot of you isn't exactly a walk in the park! Oh sure, we're all aware of the stereotypical car salesperson.... out there saying anything they think you want to here just to get you to sign up.... but let me tell you, many of you buyers aren't exactly bastions of the truth either.

O.K...... so we can somewhat agree that it works both ways. And that is what this site is about. It works both ways.

The sales staff is trained on their product. They're trained on  car selling techniques. They are trained on how to respond to, and handle your questions and objections.

They're trained. They're smooth. And they know the auto business. Why would you want to put yourself in a position of simple ignorance when you'll probably be spending at the very least a good part of your day, trying to buy a large ticket item like a vehicle???

I sincerely hope you wouldn't.

Buying a car and getting a good deal on buying a car is very serious business for the dealer and the sales people. It should be to you too!

So let's get started!

Move around the site to the different areas. Take notes, sharpen your skills, get  your game face on and let's put a good deal on your next car buying outing.
